Courses and examinations can be booked independently of each other. The fees must be paid separately.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Attending a course does not oblige you to take the examination. Any examination costs must be paid separately when registering for the examination.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

During the course and exam period, children of all ages can be looked after free of charge in the children’s group.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

Of course! Our office hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 07:45 to 16:00 and Friday from 07:45 to 14:00. Please note that we only accept cash payments.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

Do I have to pay everything at once?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

The course fee must be paid in full before the end of the course. Payment in installments is possible. However, we are happy to make a reservation for you first, whereby you must pay the minimum amount of 150.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

How can I pay with you?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>
\n

Various payment options are available to you as part of our online ordering process, including Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, Sofort\u00fcberweisung and eps-\u00dcberweisung.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can also pay by bank transfer. If you come to our customer office in person, you can pay in cash<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What cancellation options do I have?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

In general, you have the flexibility to make changes to your course up to 14 days before the start of the course. If your visa is refused, you can even cancel or make changes free of charge up to 7 days before the course starts.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

How long does a German course last?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>
\n

The duration of your language course depends on your choice. As a rule, our courses last between 4 and 8 weeks.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the \u00d6IF?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>
\n

The \u00d6IF (Austrian Integration Fund) offers examinations at different levels, which serve as proof for different levels of residence permits in Austria. The exams include: Integration test A1, A2, B1 and the \u00d6IF test B2.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

Why do you need an \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>
\n

The A1 integration test is required for the first residence permit in Austria and tests German language skills at A1 level as well as knowledge of values and orientation. The A2 exam, which tests knowledge at A2 level, must be passed in order to extend the residence permit. Permanent residence requires the B1 test, which tests language skills at B1 level and knowledge of values. The \u00d6IF B2 test is required to obtain citizenship after six years and tests German language skills at B2 level. Municipal authorities and employers in Austria recognize the \u00d6IF exams as official proof of German language skills.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

How are the \u00d6IF exams structured?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

All \u00d6IF exams have written and oral parts. The A1 exam lasts 1 hour and 50 minutes in writing and 15 minutes orally. The A2 exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes in writing and 10 minutes orally. The B1 exam lasts approximately 2 hours in writing and 15 minutes orally. The B2 exam takes about 2.5 hours in writing and 15 to 25 minutes orally.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

How long does an \u00d6IF exam take?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

The exams usually start at 09:00 and last between 5 and 7 hours, depending on the level and number of participants.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

What do I need to register for an \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

A registration form and proof of identity are required for registration, e.g. passport, residence permit card or identity card.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

Preparation courses are available and offer exercise types and model tests for exam preparation. The success rate is 91% for participants with a preparation course compared to 47% without a course.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

What do I need to bring to the \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

Proof of identity and a non-erasable blue or black ballpoint pen.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

Can I use a dictionary for the \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>
\n

No dictionary is permitted for the A1, A2 and B1 examinations. A monolingual dictionary may be used in the oral part of the B2 exam.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

How do you prepare yourself for the \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

What happens if you fail part of the \u00d6IF exam?<\/strong><\/div><\/summary>

The entire examination must be repeated, as partial repetition is not possible.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n
