Course Levels
A1 (Beginner): Learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and simple sentences. You will develop the basic vocabulary and structures you need for simple conversations and everyday situations.
A2 (Elementary): Learn to understand commonly used senences and expressions and communicate in simple, routine situations.
B1 (Intermediate): Develop the skills to take part in conversations about familiar topics such as work and school and communicate confidently in everyday situations.
B2 (Upper Intermediate): Learn to understand the main ides of more complex texts and communicate with greater fluency and confidence.
C1 (Advanced): Develop the ability to express yourself fluently and to understand long, demanding texts across a wide range of topics.

3-Day ÖIF Test Preparation Courses
Get ready for your ÖIF test in just three days
Our intensive 3-day preperation courses for the A1, A2, B1 and B2 ÖIF tests are designed to help you feel confident and well prepared for your test.
During the course you will:
– become familiar with the format and structure of the test,
– learn about important details and common mistakes,
– complete a full practice exam under realistic test conditions,
– review and discuss your results and areas for improvement.
All ÖIF tests include both a written and oral part. The exact format and durations depend on the level.
ÖIF A1 integration test
The written part of the test lasts around two hours (including questions about knowledge of values and orientation) . It includes single-choice and true/false questions.
The oral part of the exam lasts around 25 to 30 minutes and will be held in groups of three to four.
ÖIF A2 integration test
The written part of the test lasts around two hours (including questions about knowledge of values and orientation). It includes single-choice and true/false questions.
The oral part of the exam lasts around 8 to 10 minutes without a partner.
ÖIF B1 integration test
The written part of the test lasts around two and a half hours (including questions about knowledge of values and orientation). It includes single-choice and true/false questions.
The oral part of the exam lasts around 16 to 20 minutes and will be held in pairs.
ÖIF B2 test
the written exam lasts aorund three and a half hours (important: there will be no questions about knowledge of values and orientation). It includes single-choice and true/false questions.
The oral part of the exam lasts around 40 to 50 minutes and will be held in pairs or groups of three.

3-day preparation courses for the ÖIF exam
Want to prepare for your ÖIF exam quickly and effectively?
Our intensive 3-day preparation courses for the A1, A2, B1 and B2 ÖIF exams are designed to help you feel confident and well prepared for exam day.
During the course, you will:
– become familiar with the format and structure of your exam,

A1-Exam:
The written section of the exam takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes in total. It includes Language Elements (10 min.), Listening (15 min.), Reading and Writing (45 min.), and Knowledge of Values and Orientation (WOW) (40 min.). Tasks include single-choice and true/false questions.
ÖIF A2-Exam:
The written section takes approximately 2 hours and includes Reading (40 min.), Listening (approx. 12 min.), Writing (25 min.), and Knowledge of Values and Orientation (WOW) (40 min.). Tasks include single-choice and true/false questions.
ÖIF B1-Exam:
The written section takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and includes Listening (approx. 25 min.), Reading (45 min.), Writing (30 min.), and Knowledge of Values and Orientation (WOW) (40 min.). Tasks include single-choice and true/false questions.
ÖIF B2-Exam:
The written section takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and includes Reading and Language Elements (90 min.), Listening (approx. 25 min.), Writing (40 min.), and Knowledge of Values and Orientation (40 min.). Tasks include multiple-choice and true/false questions.
